Romeo

A township boy who took the bass seriously at 15. He endured hours and hours of practice. The climate allowed it during those years. The eighties, there was less or no schooling in the townships. Up to this day he looks at the world through the spaces between the strings of his instrument. The low-pitched sound, he says, connects him to the ground. It's soothing sound patches to all the potholes in the road of life. He worked with Sipho"Hotstix"Mabuse, Mahotella Queens, Judith Sephuma, Jannie Moolman, HHP, Lira, Gang of Instrumentals ,Danny K and Incha to mention just a few. He says he enjoys working with different artists because it expands his  microcosm. He hopes to "go grey" with the bass still hanging on his shoulder.
